Working meeting in the Government of the Saratov region

Irina Zemlyanskaya, General Director of INNO-MIR LLC, took part in a working meeting in the Government of the Saratov region as a member of the delegation from the organizing committee of the International Congress "VIII Congress of the Vavilov Society of Geneticists and Breeders", headed by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of VOGiS Igor Tikhonovich.

The delegation was received by Deputy Chairman of the regional Government — Minister of Industry and Energy Mikhail Nikolaevich Torgashin. The delegation also included: Anton Aleksandrovich Nizhnikov, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Secretary of VOGiS, Head of the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology of St. Petersburg State University; Olga Ivanovna Yudakova, Dean of the Faculty of Biology of the Saratov National Research State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky.

The meeting participants discussed the directions of work on the organization of the International Congress "VIII Congress of the Vavilov Society of Geneticists and Breeders" and the significance of the event for Saratov as a city whose history is inextricably linked with the name of Nikolai Ivanovich Vavilov.
