Technopolis GS - Russian Technologies Development Area

The next unique project which we wrote about in the book "Features of the national innovation culture" is Technopolis GS. It is the largest Russian private innovation radioelectronics cluster, an area with a well-developed creative, social, and engineering infrastructure. 

The synergy of high-tech production and creative urban environment makes the cluster an identifiable and internationally competitive innovative city.

The results of the cluster's activities presented in this year's news reports reflect the relevance and success of this project.

Among the latest developments is the StingrayTV software platform created by GS Labs specialists, which has successfully passed the state registration of computer programs and databases. GS Labs has registered the StingrayTV platform with Rospatent, as well as the StingrayTV trademark.

GS Nanotech's GSN1509X microcontroller for intelligent metering devices received a "Golden Chip" award in the import substitution category.

Also, on the basis of Technopolis GS, GS Group holding and Marvel-Distribution, one of Russia's largest suppliers of IT equipment, have started cooperation in the field of localization of production of LifeTab Plus tablet computers. Prototypes of Russian-made tablets and smartphones of the f+ pro brand were included in the exposition of the products of Technopolis GS enterprises visited by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin on October 21, 2021. The project is an example of import substitution in the competitive electronics manufacturing sector.
